The Somerset Juniors have a great up and coming squad both girls and boys [ indoors and out] and we would love to nurture any local youngsters wishing to join our club, either to play within the club or aspire to play at higher level. At the moment we have both the County Junior Ladies manager - Celia Whitmarsh and Assistant manager - Jenny Tibbs as club members.
We also have the John's Trophy manager- Jenny Tibbs as a club member and we are hoping that there will be interested club members and youngsters that we can bring on to play at top inter county level in the future.
Our outdoor green is of a very high standard due to the hard work of our green keeper and team and its fabulous flower borders are tended by some of the club members giving us the enviable surroundings in which to bowl.
We play throughout the summer months from April - September.
We offer bowling for ladies, men and youngster's [starting from about 10 years of age as we have children's sized bowls for the youngsters]. You are never too young [or old] to start the game or aspire to play at what ever level you are comfortable, from club games to county or international levels.
The club members can choose to play in the friendly club night, club competitions or roll ups.
The men's teams enter the Somerset and Clevedon and district leagues with the ladies playing in the North Somerset and DRT leagues Members also have the opportunity to take part in County and National competitions should they wish.

Come and have a chat for a couple of hours, get out of the house, particularly for those of you that may be on your own or those who would like more company than just your other half.
